My Tips for today;
Many of you may have several social media accounts. I’ll share some quick tips on boosting interaction & followers on Instagram.
* Instagram: Include a short Bio about your business. Include these items :
-Business name,
-short description or characteristics of you or your biz objectives
-An offering; (discount, coupons, free info, pdf, etc. free item)
-Website & link -Other social media links
*Post pics, videos, educational or fun info that is relevant to your business or industry; avoid personal home life posts or irrelevant content.
Post in mornings around 7am &/ or around lunch time 1200pm
*When posting add a story, a question, or a comment or phrase about your post to engage interaction.
*Then add hashtags & keywords associated with the biz or your products/services. (Ex. #strawberrypie, #tennesseesmallbusiness, #bakedgoods, #localtechnician )
*Next- Search those same keywords (or your interests) within IG and find other posts/people with at least one hundred likes or followers and comment or follow them, therefore they are likely to follow you back. Avoid posts with thousands of likes/comments/followers -(they may not have time to follow you back)
*Make Reels, short videos of you and your business activities or products. Its a great attention grabber.
-Don’t forget to have your business name & contact info on or attached to your items!
